The quickest and easiest way to avoid interruption to your Motivo sessions is to log in to the Motivo dashboard and join your sessions from there.

IS ZOOM PROMPTING YOU TO ENTER A PASSWORD? 

Zoom is increasing security. They will soon require all users to enter a password to join a meeting. The quickest and easiest way to avoid interruption to your Motivo sessions is to log in to the Motivo dashboard and join your sessions from there. We have built the meeting passwords into the sessions links so that you only have to click "join session" from your Motivo dashboard to join your supervision session. Simply put, if you join your sessions from the Motivo dashboard, you will not have to enter a password. 

Here's the why...

If you've read about Zoom in the media lately then it will come as no surprise that they are amplifying their security. This is great news!
Starting May 30th, Zoom will require a password to join all meetings. This applies to all Zoom meetings, not just Motivo sessions.
Motivo has made adjustments to our platform in order ensure you still have a seamless experience for joining a session. We have built the passwords into the sessions links, so that you only have to click "join session" from your Motivo dashboard in order to join your supervision session. Simply put, if you join your sessions from the Motivo dashboard, you will not have to enter a password. 
 

Here's the kicker...

 Many of you are in the practice of joining your sessions from the email confirmations that are sent out when a session is created. Those links will not work for sessions that have already been scheduled. After May 30, 2020, these sessions will not automatically allow you to join.
 

Here's what you need to do...

99% of this problem will be solved by logging in to your Motivo dashboard to join your session rather than clicking on the link in your email. If you click the email link and get a password pop-up, simply login to your Motivo dashboard and join the session from there. Click here to see how to log in and join a session. 
It's likely been a while since some of you logged into your dashboard, your username is your email address associated with your Motivo account. So the email address we send the confirmation emails to. If you can't remember your password, go ahead and create a new one.
